這片是2000年由Twentieth Century Fox(20世紀福斯影片)發行，
在敘述Carl Brashear美國第一個黑人海軍潛水員的故事，
由於是勵志類型的影片，
內容不外乎會有許多人說是狗血劇情， 但我想這是一部， 狗血到讓你眼淚不自覺落下且難以停止的感人影片... 當然我不能分享太多劇情， 以免有人說看了沒意思。 我就分享我看到落淚的最後一段...
The Navy Diver is not a fighting man.
海軍並不是戰鬥人員，
He is a salvage expert.
他是救難專家；
If it's lost underwater, he finds it.
遺失在海底的，他負責找到它。
If it's sunk, he brings it up.
沉下去的，他負責把它撈上來。
If it's in the way, he moves it.
擋在路途中的，他負責把它移開。
If he's lucky, he dies young two hundred feet beneath the waves.
如果他很幸運，那他會死在200呎深的海底，
Cause that is the closest he will ever get to be a hero.
因為這會是他最靠近成為一個英雄的地方。
這是影片最後一段在公聽會時，
Carl Brashear一度撐不住停在第九步(總共要走12步)，
他的昔日教官Billy Sunday開始對他訓起以前所講的話...
不過在電影中於潛水學校那一段的時候，
Billy並沒有講過完整版的版本。
有第一段在公聽會上Carl向Hank上校說:
"Forgive me, Sir , to me , the Navy is not a business.
We have many traditions, and my career experience most of them.
Some good, some bad.
However I wouldn't be here today,
if it weren't for our greatest tradition of all. "
Hank:" And which one is that?"
Carl:" Honor！Sir."
聽到那句Honor眼淚真的要飆下來了，
在看到上面分享的那一段加上他忍痛走完12步，
你完全是無法抗拒眼淚落下...
至今我看超過40部影片了，
至少40部，
但這部真的是我最愛最感人的一部...
